I can confirm the behaviour you are seeing, so this looks like a bug in dBpoweramp Music Converter R16.2.

Using [track] in the Naming string, regardless of the Pad track number to 2 digits (ie 02) setting, produces a padded track number.

Using [track_unpad] in the Naming string, produces the string [track_unpad] and not an unpadded track number.

Can you try this:
In CDRipper Options >> Meta Data & ID Tag, un-tick Pad track number to 2 digits (ie 02)

then use [track] in your Naming string e.g.
[IFVALUE]album artist,[album artist],[IFCOMP]Various Artists[][IF!COMP][artist][][]\[album]\[disc]-[track]-[title]

Even though I un-ticked that option, I still get zero padding. Specifically,

[IFVALUE]album artist,[album artist],[IFCOMP]Various Artists[][IF!COMP][artist][][]\[album]\[disc]-[track]-[title]

produces

Album Artist\Album Title\1-05-Title

Does [track_unpad] work for anyone else? I've searched but can't find any instances of it giving others problems. FYI, I'm using the current version of dBpoweramp on Win 10 Pro.

Hello,

I am a new user to dBpoweramp and am trying to set up the CD Ripper. Specifically, I am trying to set up my naming structure for ripped files. I'm trying to use the [track_unpad] value to omit leading zeros in the track number, but this value is not being interpreted during file naming. Specifically, with the Base Location specified as:

[IFVALUE]album artist,[album artist],[IFCOMP]Various Artists[][IF!COMP][artist][][]\[album]\[disc]-[track_unpad]-[title]

the written file format is:

Album Artist\Album Title\1-[track_unpad]-Title

Please see the attached screenshot for the same information. Can anyone suggest a fix?
