    Manually adding a column heading

My question concerns column headings. When a CD is found there is a column listing Title, Length, Rip Status, CRC, Year, Estimated Size, Start LBA, End LBA
However when the CD found is a compilation by various artists then there's also an Artist column.

I have to enter a lot of my CDs by hand since they are not found in any of the databases. The Artist column is not in the default column headings when the Meta button finds no matches.
Clicking on "comp" and "multi-artist" on the edit page doesn't make it appear. That column only appears when the system finds a match on a various artist album.

Is there any way I can add that Artist column manually?

    Thanks,
    Larry

Right click on the column header and select 'Artist'

'Artist' is selected by default when I right click and look at the available options. I've tried unselecting it and then selecting it again, but it makes no difference. There is no column for artist unless the Meta button finds a match on a compilation CD. Any other suggestion to accomplish adding a column listing 'artist' on comps I'm typing in myself?

Which version of dBpoweramp? R16 makes so artist is always shown if checked.

I don't know how to find any version identification. No "about" choice on any menu.

OK, I figured it out. I had version 14 so I just upgraded to R16. Should I uninstall the old version first?
