Version R14.4 is Corrupt

I am trying to install version R14.4 that I purchased two years ago on my new windows 10 computer. It seems to download fine but the install fails with a notice that the file is corrupt.
I have repeated the download and disabled my firewall but got the same results. I purchased the family pack, and feed I should not have to pay for an upgrade (if needed) to make this work.

Try disabling any anti-virus/security software, as it appears the file is not downloading successfully.

It is likely your security software is blocking the install.

I was just about to download R14.4 for my own new machine. Is that release supported on Windows 10, then?

It runs fine on Windows 10.
