Cannot open my FLAC files on my QNAP NAS

I have purchased a QNAP TS 112P hard drive with 2TB capacity in order to burn our cd collection on a NAS and then play them through the SONOS system. I have so far only copied two ads as FLAC files to the NAS using my MacBook Pro laptop. I completed this through DBPowerAmp software so that all the appropriate info is stored. However, the files will not open on the NAS or SONOS (it says that I am unable to add songs to the queue despite recognising the tracks. Do you have any idea why this would happen and, of course, how can I resolve the issue?

You say open on the NAS, how would you open them on the NAS?

As a test create some mp3 files then try to play those.
