When ripping to CUE single file image, the DSP replay gain still offers settings for track / album / EBU R128 gain".
I have all three of those checked, and I'm using FLAC encoder.
Using AIMP to play either the .cue or .flac files produced, it shows empty settings for gain.
If instead I rip to FLAC (file per track) then AIMP shows expected album and track gain.
I could understand it not being possible to have track gain in CUE single file image, where one file contains several tracks, but album gain should surely be valid.
It would be better if non-applicable DSP replay gain check boxes could be 'greyed out' when ripping to CUE single file image.
Also does anyone know of any quick way to display a files embedded gain settings?
edit:
In mp3Tag you can add customised columns to show gain tags. See https://forums.mp3tag.de/lofiversion...hp?t15950.html
I added:
Name: Album Gain Value: %REPLAYGAIN_ALBUM_GAIN% Field: %REPLAYGAIN_ALBUM_GAIN%
Name: Track Gain Value: %REPLAYGAIN_TRACK_GAIN% Field: %REPLAYGAIN_TRACK_GAIN%
Then I see same / empty values as shown in AIMP
