Cant find DSP effect HDCD in mac verision 15.8

Sorry for the newbie questions. I just purchased the product.
DSP effect HDCD does not show up in the pick list in mac version 15.8. Is that available in this version?
Please advise.

Is the unique to the Mac version and available on the Windows version? If so, will it be available on the Mac in the future?

Microsoft own the patents on this technology and they do not license for usage on the Mac.
