Composer listed as artist in metadata review

In the review of metadata the composer is often listed as artist in the metadata from all providers. Correcting this results in a lot of editing for compilations containing tracks with different composers. Is there anyway of avoiding this track by track editing?

I came up with a solution to my problem after reading several threads on this forum. For the record, this is what I did:

Load the CD
Select DSP, settings
Go to ID tag processing
Choose Map
Map artist to composer

There may be other, perhaps better ways, but this worked for me.
