cd ripper 16.1 ISRC problems

Hi, Running 16.1 (64bit) under win 10 x64 and cd Ripper is not reading the ISRC reliably. I click RETRIEVE META FROM >> CD-ISRC and it fills in most of the missing ones but I sometimes can't get the ISRC for track 1. I know it has one because a dump of the CD-ISRC with another program shows the ISRC's for all tracks including track 1.

Also, When I click RETRIEVE META FROM >> CD-ISRC a second or third time it quickly completes (doesn't take any time) so it looks like it's either reading from cache or not reading at all. So it's not getting any better answers (i.e. finding the missing entries).

Any Suggestions?

It will be the CD drive which caches, and if the results change between tries, it is unlikely to be our code which is inconsistent.
