Can't change the cover picture

I change the cover picture with " add file" option. However, the folder file kept change back to the pre-selected one.
Where did I go wrong?

Sorry, but for me this is a little vague. Please can you provide more detailed info, preferably with screenshots.

Hi:
Sorry for the unclear question.
try to pic the problem in sequence
1: while editing the tags, the cover picture for the album is pre-selected. You can change it by selecting from Art files, or adding new file.
2: by adding new file, I then rip the CD.
3: checking the ripped file, I found the " Foler.jpg" is still the pre-selected picture, not the one I added.

First remove the front cover album art, then add the new album art as front cover album art.
