Any chance you might incorporate the standard path that's in most programs to determine the version HELP, ABOUT, VERSION?

Hey Spoon,

I think he is talking about the windows style guide recommendation to have a menu entry "Help" or "?" with a sub items like "About" or "Info" showing the program version.

Nothing follows this design style any more, not even MS Office. Times move on.

We have made R16 to normally launch through a control centre which self checks for update, you not get any easier than that. I think.
