Updated to R16 - Playlist Writer won´t work

Just updated from R15, but encounetered an issue: the DSP Playlist Writer does not create Playlists anymore, while settings remained unchanged from previous version.
I experimented by changing Playlist Type and Destination Folders but to no avail. Additionally searched the complete harddisc for the file, it seems it is just not created/written. Any ideas?

One more observation: When I select all ripped tracks in Batch Converter and apply Playlist Writer with the same settings like in CD Ripper, the playlist is created. But obviously this is quite inconvenient.

Open CD Ripper >> Options Menu >> CD Ripper Options >> 'When Ripping' to 'Rip direct to final filenames' and this issue goes away.
