When attempting to open CDRipper the program locks and and I need to force quit to get out of it. Convertor and Batch Convertor work fine.

Has CD Ripper ever worked before? what happens if you leave it for a minute or 2? -
Re: Mac OS x R15.5 Ripper issues
I have similar issues with OSX 10.10.5 and dBpoweramp R15.5.
I have a modern pc, running a Hackintosh installation with a PCI IDE addon card (that takes ages during boot to recognize the drives hooked up to it)
I usually run two instances of dbAmp, and quite regularly my two PX-230A Plextor drives will just start spinning or spin/seek cycling after inserting disc/discs, and it will take many minutes before dBpoweramp actually starts looking up the metadata. During this the drives are unresponsive and I get the nice beach ball mouse cursor.Comment

Re: Mac OS x R15.5 Ripper issues
If the operating system is taking a long time to detect the drives on boot-up, then it is likely doing the same when a new disc is inserted. You can see if iTunes is the same, if it is then the issue is outside of dBpoweramp.Comment
