I've ripper hundreds of CD's in the past few months with the same software (a new, licensed version of dBPowerAmp CD Ripper), PC, and CD reader with no problems. However, I've just encountered a box set of 4 CD's (James Levine Conducts Brahms by RCA) where the first and sometimes the last tracks of each CD in the set show as "inaccurate" no matter how many times I try to rip it. The other tracks show as "accurate". I've tried two different physical CD's (including one set brand new and the other used but in pristine condition) but the results are the same.
Anyone seen this before or have any ideas for a solution? Should I ignore the "inaccurate" assessment and just keep going? It occurs to me that since there are so many recordings of every piece in the classical repertoire, maybe checksums are getting mixed up with another recording.
