Advanced renaming and wrong CD 2 of a 2CD album
I purchased dBpoweramp today and I want to rip my CD collection to FLAC.
I started doing a few test runs, but I ran into a problem right away. Here are the details:
The first CD is found on Discogs, but the second one is not. I tried a manual search, but I couldn't figure out where (or if it's possible) to paste the Discogs release URL. The second disc isn't detected and it automatically matches a different release across other metadata providers instead.
This is the naming script I created:
[IFCOMP][album] - [artist][][IF!COMP][artist] - [album][] [IFVALUE]totaldiscs,[totaldiscs],[IFMULTI]2[][IF!MULTI]1[][]x[IFVALUE]media,[media],CD[][IFVALUE]year, (,[][GRAB]1,4,[year][][IFVALUE]year,),[][IFVALUE]catalog #, [catalog #], [][IFVALUE]label, [label],[][REPLACE]a,\,a[][IFMULTI]Disc [SETLEN]2,48,,[disc][][IFVALUE]disctitle, - [disctitle],[][REPLACE]a,\,a[][][track] [title]
For the first disc, it generates a folder named like this:
Star Wars; Return of the Jedi [Remastered Limited Special Edition] - London Symphony Orchestra 2xCD (1997) BG2 68774 RCA
The second disc should be identical and simply create a Disc 02 directory inside that same folder, but I can't get dBpoweramp to find it. Even when entering the barcode manually, it only finds two separate single-disc editions.
I'm probably doing something wrong... but I can't figure out what. Could anyone offer some advice? Is there a way to manually select the desired release from a list, similar to how MusicBrainz Picard works?
