    CD Ripper not seeing an inserted disc

    I'm trialling the CD Ripper on a Macbook Pro (2026 model) running the latest version of the Tahoe MacOS. All has worked fine thus far including this morning (UK time). I have just insterted a new disc but the Ripper is not seeing it. What can I do about this and how can I ejecte the disc from my CD drive? Thanks in advance for any help. Andy

      Sometimes the CD drive crashes, and needs a restart (unplug and reinsert). Another possibility is a block on the program from accessing it:

      macOS Catalina (or newer) introduces per program security access settings, normally macOS will ask when the program tries to access something if it should be granted permission.
