Ripping Multi-Disc Audiobooks To Windows 11

When I rip multi-CD audiobooks to Windows 11, the path I specify in dbP to rip to: Audiobooks\Author\Title\
I rip all tracks as one so I don't get distracted while driving.

When I view or go to edit a particular Disc, I get: Music\Audiobooks\Author\Title\Author\Title, disc # (1,2,3,etc.)

Is there something in the ripping path that inserts the author name as an additional folder??

I would think it would be: Music\Audiobooks\Author\Title\Title Disc #.......

When I rip, the only Metadata I use, typically entering manually, is Title, Artist, and Disc # i.e. 1/7; 2/7, etc
I enter a disc title MP3 Tag manually.... otherwise the car will display "Rip as one"

    "Author\Title, disc # (1,2,3,etc.)"

I do not recognise that, what exact naming string are you using? what path have to set?

You would set the rip path to:

        Music\Audiobooks\

You would set the naming to

        [tag]author[]\[title]

And ensure the author tag is set.

I set the path as you said.
I enter Title and Author and Disc#/sequence Metadata in the fields at the top
I leave the Naming as is.....
          I rip as 1
The Naming field says "Not required foe encoder>"
The disc rips to Audiobooks, automatically setting up the folder by author and a folder for the title, and disc Title/#....
then give the disc a name in MP3Tag so it shows on screen in the car
          Happy !
