    Very Very Slow

I purchased DB Ripper yesterday and the first half dozen rips were fast and easy.
After that painfully slow and almost unusable as it often comes to a standstill also the playback whilst ripping is distorted.
I uninstalled and reinstalled in case I had some corruption but made no difference.
Am I doing something wrong .

It is likely your CD drive has entered a state, try full power off / on, or the cd drive could have broken.

      Thanks for the thought.
I am using a brand new Asus Zen Drive Win 11 ready.
How do you suggest I give it the hurry up.
The first few rips were fast ,after that the system seemed to be ailing the last rip took 30 minutes.
Also some of what was ripped doubled each track making playback impossible so have delete and try again.
