Apologies in advance but this is long-winded to ensure I am not misunderstanding something.
I have used DBpoweramp (DBPa)for a long time and recommend it to everyone - thanks for awesome product.
1 - I want to add a new tag to every CD that I rip automatically with DBPa.
2 - The tag's name is Collection and the value I want auto-entered is MEH (I will on the odd occasion I need to edit the tag value if for some reason this is incorrect for a specific album)
3 - The principle is attractive and I would likely use it for other tags over time if I can work it out.
4 - I took a look at the help etc. and I thought I could do this with the custom tag option.
5 - I tried it and it looks as if it is doing what I want in the settings. i.e. It seems to make sense in that it asks me for a tag name and the data.
6 - I saved it (And I can see it in the settings now)
7 - I closed the program and restarted just in case (it as still there in settings)
8 - I then ripped a CD expecting the new tag to be showing on the files but I can't see it showing in the tag list when I open it to edit/view?
