That is what I had done - did not work.

But - success. I just exchanged the SATA cable and now it works again!!!! Immediate perfect accuraterip again.
Maybe the cable git broken when I switched between drives. What a very strange problem.

Glad it works again and the new Liteon drive will arrive this week, so all should be even better.

Then reinstall and rip to flac with default settings.

You said you have 2 CD drives? and both act the same?

yes.

I also did memorytest - all is ok.

I find it strange that I configured both drives with accuraterip after reinstall of software, that worked perfectly. But, after that not a single accurate rip

silences, clicks etc. all CDs now need frames re-ripping, even CDs that were accurate 2 days ago. My CDs are all like brandnew, no scratches, dirt or anything.

Ripping ar 3x speed now instaed of 30x - all extremely slow. Not a single CD is accurate anmore. I had not done or changed anything on my system.

Hi there, been using dbpoweramp for years now. Past days I have been ripping quite a few CDs and suddenly I inly get incorrect Accuraterip messages, everything is being re-ripped sometimes only a few frames. Still Accuraterip says it is not to be trusted.
I tried different Reade, same. I uninstalled programme even with the app that kills the prefs.
Everything I rip turns up with errors.

I configured Auccurate and that worked. Switched C2 on and off.

What could have happened? Not both drives died on me. I ordered the LiteON hoping that will be better.

Any ideas?

Also the files created, since this started, have faults.

Help please I still have thousands of discs to rip..
