I thought you guys might get a kick out of this screen-shot. Apparently it was June 2022 when I first bought dbPowerAMP and I guess back then it was called "CDGrab" and not "CD Ripper" at the time? Been using this great simple program faithfully ever since then, for 23+ years now, and have not been disappointed! Version 4.0.0.48 and still going strong, haha.
Actually I'm almost afraid to upgrade to the latest version, but I have no problem paying the $48 software fee, just because I've gotten SO much use out of dbPowerAMP over the years! Both to rip CD's and also to convert wav's to mp3 (or vice-versa). Maybe if it ain't broke, don't fix it? So I'm curious to hear what others think of this ancient vintage version I'm using.
Like if I'm an old-school, low tech kinda guy, are there any actual tangible benefits or improvements I'd notice, from the 2002 version of CD Grab specifically? Besides having it "fill in the blanks" with missing artist/song/title information from the online database? Like right now whenever I rip a CD album, I have to tediously type out all the artist/title file-names manually. The new 2025/2026 version of CD Ripper fixes that, right?
