    Newbie questions

Sorry for my newbie ignorance, but I could not find answers in this forum (search is not so great):
    1. Where is the documentation?
    2. What is the *** after the AccurateRIP status, i.e. when I see Accurate (1) or Accurate (200)?
    3. How can I show Album in a column?

    1. help button on almost any page of the program takes you to documentation on the features there. Also see:

    2. it tells you how many other users you match to with AR. It quits reporting at > 200. But even Accurate (1) is excellent for determining a bit perfect rip, as it means another person, with another copy of the CD, on a different computer got the same bits as you. So even AR (1) is good. The only thiing not good about AR (1) is if you ripped the CD more than a few weeks ago and are now ripping it again. So you *could* be matching to your own rip. So AR (2) would be better in that case. Otherwise, AR (5) is not really better than AR (200). They both indicate a bit perfect rip.

    3. Please clarify. Where? Which program? The ripper? or ???

      Re: Newbie questions

Thank you Gary. I better understand everything now.

Ignore *3. I wrongly worded it and created a new thread asking how I can disable Album art (I have my own album art which I normally add post-ripping and it has become a problem to delete the album art automatically generated in the event that I forget to "-" at the time of ripping - would much prefer to just tell dbpoweramp to "never use it").
