Verify Written Audio - No Message

I'm a new user of dBpoweramp for ripping, but a long time user of EZ-CD. Mainly switched for the better handling of scratches and verification DB. I have the "Verify Written Audio" checked in the Encoder FLAC tab. Occasionally, I don't get the informational message at the end of the rip that says "Audio File Passed Verification". Usually, when it happens, it is only one track. The Help info says this is a HD issue or glitch in the encoder. My interpretation. I re-rip and it has always validated on 2nd try. I am ripping directly to an external SSD with a 10GBS USB C port.

Is there anyway to re-verify without re-ripping?

I have logging set to "detailed" but do not see the message in the logs. Only in the onscreen report. Does it log if I set it to "Full"?

Are there settings that will minimize this occurrence? Such as forcing to single core?

    Thanks for any help.

That option is unlikely to do as you expect, it is there to test the encoder, we have never had an encoder fail the check, it would be a bug in the implementation.

Reading the file back straight away will not come from the SSD, but from cache, so would not know if was error in storage.

If you rip to flac, it has a built in MD5, restart the computer (full shut down, to clear the disk cache), the load batch converter, select root folder >> Convert >> choose encoder as 'Test Conversion'

If there are any errors they would be reported at the end.

Thanks for the quick response. You are correct, that is not what I thought it did. I will run the check you suggested latter today. More for just piece of mind.
