    Mountain Lion vs. Mavericks

When I ordered dBpoweramp for OSX. the web page said it erquired Mountain Lion or newer operating systems. When I went to view a help topic, I read that the Mac version required Mavericks or newer. OK, what's the real story here? I have a perfectly good MacBook running Mountain Lion and I' reluctant to upgrade to Yosemite or El Capitan because I want to retain iPhoto and besides, I've heard both good and bad about the newer versions of OSX.

FWIW, dBpoweramp seems to be OK on my little MacBook and Mountain Lion.

You have a link to the help topic?

Originally we launched and later could support the older OS.

Let me state it this way...I saw two different references to OSX compatibility somewhere, either in the application or on the website. I thought it was a help topic or maybe a forum reference. At any rate, I assume Mountain Lion is OK unless you say otherwise.
