    Audio CD not recognized

    Hello,

I am new to dBpoweramp, just moved from iTunes!

At the first start I have a Basic Problem: dBpoweramp does not recognize the Audio cd in the drive. The drive is recognized as drive E:. A small Windows opens to reread the drive.

I can run the Audio cd by Windows Media Player.

    My system:
    - Windows 10 Home 1511 / 10586.104
    - External USB DVD-ROM Teac PU-DVR10-93

I hope you can help me! :-)

    Thank you in advance!

    Norbert

If you run CD Ripper, it just says 'Insert Disc into Drive E:' ?

And I can retry as often I want, the Windows will be opend every time.

The Audio cd which is in the DVD-Rom device can be played by the Windows Media Player.

          Re: Audio CD not recognized

          After:
          - running as admin
          - deinstall / install
          - cleaning System from iTunes
          - resetting auto start for media

And a lot of thinking, I found resolved the issue:

Eset Smart Security / Media Control: The was an entry for DVD-ROM of read only, after disabling, everything went fine!

          Thank you for your support!

And greetings from a happy dBpoweramp user :-)
