    Changing Rip to folder

    Recently installed latest ver. dBpoweramp:
Defaulted to "music" folder; have previously ripped ca. 200CDs to: users/john/desktop/FLAC (the "FLAC" folder is on my desktop)
    Question:
how to change from default "music" folder to desktop FLAC folder?
Or, move everything in FLAC folder to "music"?
problem is, with WMP, every time I move ripped collection (i.e to another drive), WMP lops off the first track and tosses them in "unknown" folders.
fwiw, when ripping to FLAC at 0(zero) compression, this software is really, really zippy! (BD-RE drive: LG BH16NS40 and BH16NS50); Lenovo ThinkSation P720 - dual Xeon Platinum 8160.
    Thanks!!
    John

I hope that it is OK to ask you a basic question. DO I NEED TO BUY FUSION? I have been reading posts to see if there is a user that is posting basic information about RIPPING CD's TO FLAC FILES, and my question might be one that you could answer for me. Like you, I want to rip about 500 CD's to FLAC FILES on an NVME M.2 Drive (Specifically a Samsung 9001 PRO 4TB). My PC is a Windows 10 PRO on an Asus Z890 ProArt Motherboard with an Intel Ultra Series 2 i7. The rest is pretty basic with Samsung Nvme M.2's and EVO's for backup. The CD Burners are Plextor PX 891 SF. I have an older case that allows to have them set up as SATA connections, instead of the more common USB's.

The CD's are the "Family CD Collection" from when we lived in Taiwan for 15 years. Back then there wasn't any English music stations, so my CD collection became our 4 daughters "Oldies". When I am done, I want to give each daughter a Clone of my work on another Samsung 990 Pro (2-4 TB, depending on size of the final file.).

I assume that I will need to buy the CD Ripper/Converter & Perfect Tunes, but my question is: Do I need to buy FUSION?

To make copies I will be using USB Adapters with the NVME inside. The FUSION software refers to USB involvement in certain applications. To create play lists stored inside USB Adapters with the Nvme/SSD inside, and then to play through another piece of hardware (DAC, WiiM, Bluesound, etc), does this application require FUSION?

I hope that I am not Hijacking your question. I have scanned all over and I cannot find a location to post this basic kind of question. I have asked the sales/financial department but I think that might be the wrong location to post my question. I saw that you received an answer from the Admin, so I hope you can help me out. I have used J River, but this software is all new to me. It appears to be more complicated than what I have used in the past. Maybe it is just me. THANK YOU for any help you can provide. I am not even sure if the two components that I said I would be buying, are the nuts and bolts of CD Ripping. Thanks again, gbakmars ( my 4 daughters names and the first four letters of my last name!!

SPOON, I am amazed that you are still alive and posting! How in the world did you get to 45,500 POSTS!!? Absolutely an amazing example of a servant's heart! Thank you for being available to people that are asking basic questions, when you have in the making a doctoral thesis!

You dont need fusion as far as i can tell from your use case description. Fusion is for things like converting from FLAC files to lossy versions on the fly for use on smart phones etc. you are ripping CDs tomplay elsewhere. That is all up to whatever music server/player you use. Fusion is not a player.
