In dbpoweramp control center I have tagging set to ID3, yet when I rip a album and play it through windows media player, the album art doesn't come up. Does WMP not read those tags or am I missing something? I also have the tag album art selected in the CDGrab tagging settings. Im gonna put the files on a DAP / Mp3 player (Hiby R4) and I want to know if it'll show up or not before going through and ripping everything and transferring everything over. On Windows 11
How To Embed Album Art In Ripped WAV Files?

Hi Wickedfox,
I've run into a similar problem myself. I have a Sony NW-A306 Walkman that I use as my everyday DAP. One of my albums on there is in WAV and displays the song names and other metadata, but does not display the album art. Honestly I haven't looked into it very much as 99% of my music are FLACs as it is pretty easy to manage metadata and ID tags for them in my experience. When I do come across an album that is WAV, I tend to convert it to FLAC to save storage space and tag.
It could be an issue with the player having the capability to read the album art tag for WAVs. Opening my WAV album in VLC Media Player shows the album art, so it may be dependent on the player's hardware or music app to "see" the artwork.
Sorry I couldn't give any deeper input.
