dbPoweramp causing audio problems when ripping using said software?

I've been using CUERipper for a long time and Im considering switching to dbpoweramp as it has more options like HDCD dcoding. But I've read some posts saying that some ripped audio files sound different than the cd, it being sounding brighter or more distorted.

Is this patched or is it a problem on the users end (like settings etc.). Im gonna be ripping to WAV everytime

I would not listen to such audio-foolery talk.

If you rip to wave and the result is AccurateRip verified (a technology we invented), then it is 100% as the CD was mastered. No distortion otherwise it would not verify against AccurateRip.

dbpoweramp does bit perfect rips of the CD. It does not change the sound. Whoever is saying such things clearly has no understanding of how disc ripping and digital codecs actually work.

They will be the ones with $1000 network cables, instead of $10, thinking it improves sound of a digital signal...
