Error reading cd

Hi,

I have been using CD ripper for many years and through the same HP DVDRAM GT31N , slim drive without any issues.

Today I try ripping three newly purchased CD's and get the same error every time.



Doesn't matter what I change keeps happening. Can you help?

Drive likely broken, a unable to read cd means for that part the drive is returning zero data.

Try to re-rip a disc you have ripped before.

Hi Spoon and thanks for your response.

I tried another external drive and had the same issue.... I came back this morning and was able to rip a previously ripped disc without an issue!!

I re-tried a new disc, one in each of the drives and both worked just fine. I am baffled. I know the drives work just fine as able to copy and play media on both. maybe just an anomally?? But a very strange one...
