Bcd 36xh drive dae - anyone?

    Hi, friends.

I've recently found my old cdrom at the parents' apartment, model name bcd 36xh.

I've seen many posts, where people claim some older model might be superior to most of the new ones.

Is this the case? Is it worth to try as main ripper?

P.S. I'm aiming for the quality, when mentioning 'superior' term.
P.P.S. I've used 'search', but this model was not mentioned here, so I took a chance.

If you are getting AccurateRips with your current drive, then you will not get better quality.

However, a second drive is always useful for ripping the odd troublesome CD.

Thanks, mville, I guess I'll have to try it out.
