    Windows 11

I've just ripped my first CD after moving to Windows 11 on a brand new PC.

For the first time, the folder had another folder inside. (see image attached).

Any ideas please? Can I just delete it? Or stop it arriving in the first place?

Why have album, then album again?

Because my preference is to have all my music ripped into folders under the album title.

Inside the folder, the mp3/FLAC/WAV files are named track title, artist, then album.

Any reason the other naming string stopped working properly please Spoon?

Was it purely Windows 11 causing the issue?

I've used that one for years..

Windows 11 is not the cause/root of the problems.

                        What is then?

That naming string has been used for at least 10 years, and never caused any problems, including the extra folder like it has now.

You had album twice, you did not max length it, which could lead to unpredictable results where each track has a different path,
