    uncheck over-read option

    Hi

I just reinstalled dbpoweramp after making changes to my PC. I thought I'd set up everything just as I've done in the past, using instructions.

Unfortunately, I find I can't rip three tracks off the first album I've tried. The other tracks came up accurate. I've searched the forum but can't find a solution to the problem. I may be being stupid here, but I can't see an "over-read option" either.

Any assistance will be very much appreciated. Many thanks.

Oh! Yeah, I know. It's my wife's CD.

I've used dbpoweramp for years and it's always worked absolutely fine. A great product. Thanks.

    Regards, John

    Re: uncheck over-read option

Run this, clear the program and settings:

...also how to do a full reset of dBpoweramp? (if dBpoweramp crashes for some reason) Where does dBpoweramp save its files / settings? It is installed to c:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpoweramp or c:\Program Files (x86)\Illustrate\dBpoweramp The 64 bit version of dBpoweramp is installed to: c:\Program Files\dBpoweramp It

Then reinstall and try ripping without changing any options.

      Hi Spoon

That worked for me. Thanks for your help.

I then tried changing the settings as per instructions and the issue appears to be "C2 error pointers for error correction". This was detected using disc with black triangle of marker pen. If I uncheck the C2 error box everything works OK
