dbpoweramp for Mac

I am thinking about getting dbpoweramp for Mac, just wanted to know whether the OS X version has the same capabilities and features as the Windows version.

Additionally, not all recordings use the max range of digital bits, is it possible to shift this during ripping so that the peak of a track uses the max range of the 16 or 24bit word increasing max volume?

No, there are a few differences.

The mac version does not have additional downloadable codecs, so anything in Codec Central which is not included as standard is Windows only.
