I would like to rip a bit-perfect standard audio CD to produce 1:1 replica by burning ripped files as an audio CD for physical archival purposes. Do I encode as a single FLAC + CUE for all tracks or multiple FLAC + CUE for individual songs? I know that multiple FLAC + CUE may be a bit convenient when playing on computers, but it produces non-compliant CUE that renders me to wonder whether any disc burner program can successfully output a 1:1 replica (as an audio CD).
In addition, do I enable "Write metadata file"? From the best of my knowledge, I know CUE will be enough to pertain CD-TEXT. For a pure audio CD (not a one mixed with data), FLAC + CUE containing CD-TEXT should theoretically help produce a 1:1 replica. However, I am sure if the above is wrong. Do I need to worry about the metadata file? Or I do not need to worry about it as long as I have CUE?
