Insert disk message every ten seconds

When ripping a CD the drive door opens and an insert disk message appears on screen. This happens several times. The cd ripper became unresponsive on my Windows 11 computer and prevented shutting off my computer, so I then installed the program on my old Windows 10 computer. It seemed to rip properly for about two CDs then issues appeared. Only the song titles were recorded without the song itself, and the drive door would continually fly open with a request to insert a CD even though a CD was present.

Same CD Drive? there is no reason why it should eject the disc whilst ripping unless a faulty drive, or another program is doing that.
