I upgraded dBPowerAmp from version 17 to version 2025. Unfortunately the new version does not recognise my CD Drive. The old version recognised it just fine. I'm running it on Windows 11 and the drive is a external LG BE16NU50. It makes no difference whether there is a CD in the drive or not.

Microsoft have updated Windows Defender to include an option called "Controlled folder access" this basically limits every program from accessing key areas of the system unless permitted on an individual program basis. By default this option is off for Windows, however if it is enabled you should add the programs -
Using iMac 2025 Sequoia. I use the CD Ripper frequently and love it! However, today, DB Poweramp doesn't show that CD Ripping even exists. All that is on the interface is Batch Converter, Music Converter and Help. I just updated it yesterday or tuesday
