Bug: "Detect C2 Capability" disabled in CD Ripper even when a disc is inserted (Mac)

I recently updated to the current versions of dBpoweramp and CD Ripper. After I did that I noticed something strange with the Detect C2 Capability option: it was disabled even when a disc was inserted.

Anyway, this isn't a big deal but wanted to mention it!

Please insert a disc, wait for dBpoweramp to show it then open settings.
This is an old problem related to how Mac OS presents optical drives: we do not see a drive until there is a disc inserted and cannot show settings for it.
The settings window does not watch for newly inserted discs, only presents settings for the disc/drive that was selected while it was being created. This will be possibly improved in future versions.

PeterP thanks for the guidance! I know exactly what you mean about the C2 settings not being available until the disc has been read. Let me clarify the bug I am seeing: even after the disc has been read and databases have been queried for info, the C2 Error Points section of Secure settings is not available. I have a screen recording if that help! I tried attaching a GIF showing what's going on but it didn't load properly.

Spoon One tangential question: prior to the most recent update, I simply had one app: dBpoweramp. Within that app, I would click the utility I wanted to use and then that would get launched. With the most recent update, I now have two apps: dBpoweramp and a separate CD Ripper app. Is that normal?

Yes, you would set CD Ripper to launch when insert a CD in system settings. We will update the help very soon to show how this is done.

I have fixed this issue for the next version of Ripper - it will show the options as soon as a disc has been detected.
