Hi,
I've recently moved from a Dell Inspiron 5577 running windows 10 to a new laptop on windows 11. I'm currently using a verbatim external drive powered directly off the laptop's 2 USB A ports. I was previously ripping multiple CD's weekly on the old system and this drive without issue. After setting up the new PC and reinstalling dbpoweramp, I am having an issue where most CD's are eventually ripping accurately, but during the rip the drive is spinning up and stalling out multiple times. This has increased the rip time substantially. On my previous computer, the drive would sustain the rip and encoding speed throughout the duration of the ripping process.
I'm not using secure rip. All user settings appear to mirror the setup on my windows 10 machine. Is this an expected behavior on windows 11?
Thanks.
