I just downloaded the DMC-OSX-R15.4-beta1.dmg and it's having trouble opening. This message comes up immediately "dBpoweramp Music Converter quit unexpectedly." Any suggestions...?

Sorry about it, it seems something went wrong during .DMG creation yesterday and the app contained inside was incomplete. Reuploaded now, please redownload.

Thanks! It still hangs on the same thing, but I was able to cancel it and begin ripping I have turned off the auto tagging for now.

There's no need to disable autotagging entirely - just uncheck AMG in the provider list in the 'Meta' button dropdown.

Peter, sorry I've been away for a few days so I'm just now getting back to this, but the ripper got stuck again so I will send you the configuration snapshot.
Using the beta 15.4 version you made available, only the GD3 source worked, using the "Retrieve from" drop-down option, where I tried each source individually. GD3 gave me track names and 500x500 album art for a Ryan Adams CD, freedb gave me track names but no album art, while All Media guide and MusicBrainz gave me nothing and were stuck, keeping me waiting. I had the same results ripping Fleetwood Mac's "English Rose" -- only GD3 found me the track names and 400x400 album art. Configuration snapshot will be on its way to you...thanks.

• Fixed metadata provider checkboxes not having immediate effect
• AMG should no longer take a very long time to return in case there's a problem connecting to the server.
