Can't Change Ripped Music CD Track Number and Order Using ID Tag Editor

I posted in this forum as I didn't see one Specifically for the ID Tag Editor. I ripped a disc using CD Ripper successfully, but the songs have the wrong Track Number and are out of order. I opened ID Tag Editor and edited the song names and Track ID's. I didn't see any save option, but on an Internet search, it said to just close the Window to save. I tried it 3 times, but nothing changes. I also tried to do it through Windows properties, and it let me change everything, but it too doesn't save anything. It's my own PC. I have full Administrator access, and I checked security status for the files, and I have Full Read/Write access to everything.

    Windows PC?

Edit the tags with, select tracks >> right click >> Edit ID Tags (for Windows 11 select menu dBpoweramp first).

There will be an OK button. Note this changes the tags embedded in the file, not the filenames, which you can see in explorer.
