I have two CD drives, E & F with a ripper window opened for each drive. I set "Path" in window for E and then I set "Path" in window for F. Both windows show the same value in the "Filename" column, the one set last in window for F. Each window rips to different (the correct) destination directories.
Two ripper instanciations both display the last "Path" set

Next release (in a few days) has:
CD Ripper - if want to run two CD Rippers with different drives selected and different naming strings, etc, it is possible now through the use of profiles, load CD Ripper, create a profile and change settings based on that profile. Load 2nd CD Ripper and create a new profile for that CD Ripper and change settings (such as naming) for that CD Ripper.

was just about to write the same , with 11 drives.
other than that i do notice that if you go to "cd ripper options" whiile it's open in another instance every action starts to take several seconds. i thought i'd run c2 calibration a few drives the same time (have a few broken cds) but that seems to not the best idea. it is ofcourse a very niche problem to have, and will be a while before i run into it again.
came out of the box with almost all the options i would have chosen already active, the more arcane config is documented and even 10 in parallel don't seem to use any resources at all. going to run 5 - 10 unknown (often on all souces, so hashes, meta, etc).. see how updating metadata goes & with no hitches a purchase after easter.
