New computer with Windows 11, getting Inaccurate rips every time

I am a long time user of the dbpoweramp CD Ripper, have been using it trouble free on an old Intel based system running Windows 10 with a Pioneer BDR-208DBK drive.
I never previously had any issues with inaccurate rips.

I built a new AMD based system recently, which is running Windows 11, but with the same Pioneer BDR-208DBK drive.

Now with the new system, every track on every CD that I rip is showing up as inaccurate.
I have gone back to known good CDs, which ripped fine on the old system, and they show as inaccurate on the new system.

When I compare old rips against new rips, I can see in the metadata that the CRCs are different now.
I suspect this could be a Windows 11 driver issue, but I haven't been able to find any alternative drivers.
At the moment I'm running the drivers which windows automatically installed.

Aside from continuing to search for alternative drivers, is there anything else that I should be trying to resolve this issue?

    Thanks for the support.

Unlikely drivers, perhaps it is related to the onboard SATA controller, look in the bios and change the mode it operates in if have that option.

Thanks for the quick reply, I just checked the Onboard SATA controller settings, it is set to the default AHCI mode.

I'm pretty sure that's how the old system was set up also, since I have never configured RAID.

I have 2x HDDs plus the 1x Pioneer BDR-208DBK, I don't want the HDDs to be running in RAID.

Is there anything else I could try?

Update on this, I have found a solution to my problem.

I had a spare PCI-E SATA Expansion Card laying around, thought that was worth a try.

Bypassing the onboard SATA controller and connecting the Pioneer BDR-208DBK drive through the PCI-E expansion card resolved the issue.

So it seems that there is something about the onboard SATA controller on my Gigabyte B650 motherboard that dbpoweramp does not like.

Anyway, I have a workaround, that's the main thing.

Thanks for the support, you steered me in the right direction by mentioning the SATA port!

It will not be dBpoweramp which does not like it, it will be the CD/DVD drive. dBpoweramp uses the same standard audio read calls, regardless of the drive.

Hi, I have the same issue. My drive is ASUS SDRW-08D2S-U.
I have tried inserting something like 30 CD and still no luck.
Under Windows 10 it worked perfectly

I was able to have it setup with my drive after countless CD readings. Where is the configuration stored, so that I can save it and avoid having to repeat it again if I reinstall the PC?
