Pioneer BDR-X13UBK DB power and MBP

HI, yesterday I was happily ripping some CD's using the pioneer BDR my MBP and DBpower. DB recognized the ripper immediately when I connected it. Today for some reason it does not any longer. I did do the latest upgrade extension yesterday of DB so I am wondering what happened and how I fix it?

Can you see the drive in finder? if not then it is system related.

There is nothing you can do in dBpoweramp. The system has to see the drive for it to work.
