    Error writing files

CD Ripper reports errors in writing a range of files (on one disc, tracks 8 to 13), yet, when I reinsert the disc, it shows all those tracks as accurately ripped. But those tracks do not appear in the folder containing the rest of the tracks, though the rip log shows no problems. I just tried ripping the CD for a third time, and this time the tracks ripped accurately and appeared in their folder.

Similar problems occurred with the first disc. (It is a two-CD set.)

Any idea what is happening? The problems occurred with the Redbook layers of this SACD set. It was a classical album, but the filenames don't appear any longer than those of a typical pop CD.

    Thank you.

The initial reports of errors have disappeared. Can I get the error reports elsewhere?

No, you would have to rip again.
