    Incorrect number of Tracks

Hi - I have a CD that is not reporting the right number of tracks, I don't think it is the app as Foobar seems to misreport this too.

This CD has 10 Tracks - the first is Sense, then Life of Riley etc down to the 10th track which is Thinking Up Looking Down

For some reason it seems to be not showing the first true track and only reporting 9 tracks, Windows Explorer lists 10 tracks (as .CDA files).

    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Gav

EAC can't rip it. WMP can't rip it. iTunes can't rip it, neither can CD-EX. This album is 1992 Virgin with no notes about copy protection on it....

It is a strange CD, try the defective by design ripping option, it will read the TOC a different way, choose the option then click refresh. Return to Secure ripping once done.

Spoon Thanks for that, it worked as you described. I was also able to rip it with EAC which detected the correct number of tracks and track titles.
Apologies for not spotting the earlier post - should have searched properly.
