CD Ripper - Losing a second or two of audio when advancing tracks

On a couple of Albums there are multiple short tracks (1-5 minutes). When advancing from track to track my VLC Player skips one or two seconds of audio at the beginning of the next track. Perhaps Chandos should have entered a one second pause before recording the track. If I Rip as One I do not hear the skips, but Rip as One is not my preference. Don

You need an audio player which can replay gapless.
