Id3 tags in wav

Hi,

I’m trying to extract metadata from some of my wav files.
As I understand, id3 tags can’t be written to wav files, but cdripper does anyway.
Where are the tags written in the riff chunk?
For example I suppose a UPC tag is written to TXXX:UPC or something similar, but wav doesn’t support that field.

dBpoweramp will write an ID3v2
tag to wave files which support all ID tags.

Yeah, I noticed.
im trying to figure out where in the file structure id3 is written.
I have tried using a script to read all id3 tags, but I get nothing.
It looks like they are written in the LIST chunk, but with id3 tags such as TALB, TIT2, etc. instead of IPRD, INAM, etc.
while I don’t get how it’s possible, I’m even more curious on where the TXXX tags are stored.

They are written in a specific wave riff chunk:

'ID3 '

and

'LIST' for the limited tag
