CD ripper locks up

I am very frustrated with the CD Ripper software I purchased. I have removed the program and downloaded it again today. Same problems. It locks up when ripping starts and stays frozen indefinitely. Please help or refund my $$.

Can you play a CD in the same drive with any other software OK?

It always locks up at the same point? what locks up, the CD Ripper? or whole system (mouse stops moving).

Where are you ripping to? a local HDD?
