Concerning the ACCURATERIPDISCID tag (why didn't you call it "accurateriptrackid" since it is a track ID? Nevermind :-o )
1) Some forty percent of my rips have an ACCURATERIPDISCID where the tracknumber at the end is padded to two digits. The rest have the final group without padding, e.g. "-1" for the first track.
Question: is the preferred format [three]-[eight]-[eight]-[eight]-[two] or without padding at the end?
2) Under what circumstances could the first digit be nonzero? It seems to me that only counts audio tracks, right? In particular, consider the following Playstation-type CD with a data track at the beginning (at least I think it is one such, from the logs). CDTOC is B+2B3+4656+A46B+EDE3+1404D+1C6FA+212B1+26B6B+2C7F5 +302CD+34EC4+38B2D+X96
The log (R13 from 2008) quotes ACCURATERIPDISCID values 011-0015fe65-00bedc2b-7c0c160c-2 to ...-12. This is just what I should expect - with the "011-" at the beginning and is just what I should expect (at least modulo the padding issue for "-2" through "-9")?
I still wonder whether to use the final group in the TRACKNUMBER tag. Pro: I have discovered a few errors from autotagging by searching for mismatches. Con: a CD rip that starts at track "2" makes me look for errors ...
