Cover Art Not Showing in Windows Media Player

In the attached image you can see Windows Media Player (Windows 11) on top of a Windows Explorer window. The latter shows an mp3 file i just ripper, with the cover art embedded and appearing properly in the preview. At the same time, Windows Media Player is actually playing the exact same file, but no cover art appears. Ripping was done with CD Ripper, which i just purchased. Any thoughts on this? Thank you for reading.

I haven't use WMP in years, but it may only show album art from a file in the same folder, named Folder.jpg which you can extract using dbPowerAmp.

But a much better player is forbar2000, which is free, supported, and much, much more capable. Download from https://www.foobar2000.org/download

Well, perhaps i was too hasty about all this. Windows Media Player (Legacy Edition) shows everything properly, so i guess that the new one needs to grow-up.

Thank you for your time. I am aware of WMPs mediocity. Foobar is much better. However, i just installed a brand new Windows 11 system, and i was wondering how far can i go without the need to install anything on it.
