batchripper not detecting any DVD drive

    Hello
suddenly dbpoweramp does not detect the DVD drive any more.
It states "no cd drive found"
I just purchsed the lates version of dbpoweramp batchripper and installed it.
(The audio CD and content is displayed in Windows explorer).
Do you have any hint what to do?
    (System Windows 10 latest patch)
    Thanks
    Frank

Microsoft have updated Windows Defender to include an option called "Controlled folder access" this basically limits every program from accessing key areas of the system unless permitted on an individual program basis. By default this option is off for Windows, however if it is enabled you should add the programs

          Hello Spoon,
"controlled folder access "is not enabled in windows
further cd ripper states "no CD drive found"
So it has to be an other problem .
Do you have an other idea?

            Browse to:

            C:\Program Files\dBpoweramp

right click on CDGrab.exe and select 'run as administrator'

              that worked. :-)
But do I have to run cd rip or batchrip as admin any time?
BEfore it was not necessary .
How to make it run as admin from autostart?

You cannot do this automatically. What it means is there is something actively blocking CD Ripper from running correctly, perhaps anti malware. Try starting windows in safemode with networking and see if it starts normally.
